Christian Gehrig likes to imagine things in his head and then make them with his hands. They are flexible containers made from natural materials, such as bags, backpacks, cases and purses. A repertoire that he intends to slowly but surely expand over the next few years to include accessories such as gloves and shoes.

Largely self-taught, he learns new techniques and production methods specifically suited to new ideas. On the one hand, he pays particular attention to the interface between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aspects, and on the other hand to the raw materials used, which he buys from local production whenever possible. The path to the product is just as important as the result itself.

Christian Gehrig likes to combine his ideas with extensive research into materials and workmanship and, if necessary, can spend a lot of time developing a specific product or even a specific detail.
