Colin Havlicek has always cultivated a deep commitment to creativity and a genuine love of design. After earning his CFC (French Federal Certificate of Professional Excellence) in carpentry with honors in 2015, he founded his Opus Lignum workshop two years later, dedicated to cabinetmaking and joinery. In 2019, he created Lignum Lab, a laboratory for exploring and producing furniture with complete creative freedom.

Colin Havlicek works with wood meticulously, particularly using the bending technique in which he specializes. He plays with curves and explores the richness of the material, offering a wide range of creations ranging from interior furniture to lighting and artistic creations. Concerned about the environment, he carefully selects his materials and favors local species from short supply chains.
