Christophe Huguenin
Glass-blower
Trient

« Glass tubes and rods soften under the intense heat of the torch. At this precise moment, the glassmaker’s hand and breath encourage the material to transform. »

About

Born in 1965 in Neuchâtel, it was in 1986 that Christophe Huguenin obtained the CFC in Geneva as a glass apparatus blower. Then he works for 2 years with a workshop in Neuchâtel before choosing in 1988, the independent adventure. Since then, he has evolved by responding to the many challenges of his clientele, developing various techniques for shaping the glass tubes that he heats with a blowtorch.

« When you entrust a mandate to a craftsman, you have his experience and the infrastructure of his workshop. Listening to your wishes, he brings you the most suitable solution. »

Since 2001 in Trient, we have been producing glassware for technical use: Development of manufacturing processes, production of prototypes, unique or mass-produced pieces and on the other hand glassware for decorative use: Obtaining complex shapes in hollow glass and offer infinite variations of refraction to light. Statuettes, lamps, glasses or carafes become so many personalized gifts.
