For four generations, the "Joss-Raum und Werk" workshop in Bümpliz has been cultivating the traditional upholstery craft. Many materials and tools have not changed over the decades. The collaboration with various craftsmen - such as gilders, restorers, silk weavers and trimmers - has also proven itself to this day.

Furniture is the witness of many family stories and is often linked to emotions. The armchair, from which the great-grandfather once presided over the destiny of the family, should not disappear into the attic under the pretext of its worn upholstery, worn springs and scratched varnish, but should find its place of honor in the living room. In Atelier Joss, the use of the right materials and attention to detail make it possible to breathe new life into old furniture.
