Rolf Blöchlinger is a trained wood sculptor and carpenter. In 1997 he founded his company "partout" in Brienz. In the year 200 Blöchlinger’s collection "Lirum, Larum Loeffelstiel" was awarded a prize by the Form Forum. In addition, the 48-year-old is on the board of the organizing committee of the wood carving symposium, where he likes to carve himself during the implementation.

In the middle of Brienz, Rolf Blöchlinger keeps carving funny fellows out of large and small trunks with a chisel and hammer. The characters he designs, models, carves, and treats are notable for their cheerfulness and laughter. Rolf Blöchlinger specializes in human figures: his studio is full of lovable pepper and sugar kings, cheeky urchins and cheerful regulars, fencers and other guests.
