A child of the Vallée de Joux, Michel Juriens took over the family business in 2017 after having worked there with his father for nearly twenty years. His talents are multiple: car upholstery, furniture renovation or even making accessories for watchmaking. Its clientele is made up of individuals as well as major watch brands.

« The skins sometimes have flaws, the animal may have hurt itself. So you have to check every part. But it’s a beautiful material, with which we can do very beautiful things. »

Michel Juriens’ workshop is located in an old building in the heart of Le Brassus. From 1957, his grandfather devoted his saddlery and tapestry work to horses and automobiles. Later, his father worked mainly for the Swiss army. As for Michel Juriens, he handles leather or fabric to make watch supports, window decorations or even seat coverings.
