Bertille Laguet follows a technical course which allows her to discover how objects are made before learning to design them herself. During her studies in industrial design, she became familiar with the foundry and subsequently discovered iron working with the ironworker Philippe Naegele, whose forge she took over in 2020.
When Bertille Laguet enters Philippe Naegele's forge for the first time, she knows she is in the right place. In this place, the ironworker passes on his know-how and teaches him to master traditional blacksmithing techniques. Today, his pieces are acquired by both museums and individuals.
