About
From an early age, Dominique Mouret was passionate about small mechanics. Trained in watchmaking and more particularly in clockmaking, this Frenchman of origin settled in Switzerland as a freelancer in 1985. Working in the restoration and construction of mechanisms, he was also co-founder in Sainte-Croix of ’a company that manufactures exceptional clocks.
Recognized for his restorations of old clocks, notably musical clocks, flute sets and automatons, Dominique Mouret collaborates with watchmaking museums and maintains private collections. He had a real passion for Neuchâtel clocks from the 18th and 19th centuries, on which he carried out tireless research.
