About
In the back room of cabinetmaker Daniel Gerber's painting studio, Masha Petrushina works as a painter and appreciates the versatility of her profession. For her, art and craft are two concepts that are difficult to separate, especially when traditional printing techniques, such as gravure, are used. In the 15th and 16th centuries, gravure was already the most popular medium for visual artists such as Dürer and Rembrandt. Mastering the different gravure processes opens up a space of freedom for Masha Petrushina in which she can freely express her inventiveness in her artistic creation.
