About
Anthony Tschantz was not predestined for locksmith work, but when his blacksmith father started making toupins, his passion for fire and forging prevailed. He therefore trained in the trade of the forge and specialized in the manufacture of cowbells. In 2006, he joined the family business before taking over the reins in 2017.
At the Forge du Camp, a space that guarantees a truly Swiss heritage, Anthony Tschantz transforms raw steel sheets into toupins and other bells: after molding them, he hammers them thousands of times to obtain the desired sound. In addition to a bell engraving offer unique in the world, it restores cowbells damaged by the ravages of time.
