An automaton by François Junod offered to Jacques Dubochet, Nobel Prize in Chemistry

The very special gift from the Vaud Council of State to Jacques Dubochet

The Vaud Council of State offers Jacques Dubochet, Vaud winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, an automaton created by François Junod. Illustrating the outpouring of the creative idea, the automaton’s skull opens and releases a molecule of water. "Grandiose! Couldn’t imagine better than that." exclaimed Jacques Dubochet discovering the operation of the automaton.
