Aticrea - Craft event - Crafts on display

From Thursday, November 10 to Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the former Asilo Ciani in Lugano

The objective of the event is to present the artistic professions practiced in Ticino.

The presentation of possible professional outlets and the different training paths is an important objective for us.

Many artisans practice them: some as their main activity, others part-time, as a second job or out of passion.

Presenting them within the framework of a targeted event is the primary objective of Aticrea, which thus shows their multiple facets.

The event also aims to highlight the possibility of having unique objects, designed according to environmentally friendly criteria and using, as far as possible, local materials.

It is also important to show how it is possible to meet the wishes and needs of the client, involving him in the design and, why not, in the execution.

A number of artistic crafts from the sectors will be presented: textiles, ceramics, stone, jewellery, wood, leather, glass and musical instruments. Demonstrations and meetings with artisans are planned for each sector.

Business hours

Thursday 10.11.22 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. visits organized by appointment with special attention for schools.

Friday 11.11.22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. ––> for groups and schools by appointment.

Saturday 12.11.22 and Sunday 13.11.22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
