From the scented candle to the basket: at these two events in Zurich and Basel, craftsmanship becomes an experience. Quality craftsmanship encourages sustainable consumption and attracts more and more interest. We not only want to know what is behind or in a product, but also how it is made. So get to know the work behind it. Two Swiss designers meet this need at different events. Claudia Desax from Conceptstore Opia in Zurich invites to a workshop to learn how to make scented candles and Kathrin Eckhardt exhibits hand-woven baskets that she produces in Ghana as works of art in a gallery in Basel.
