Bern - The 80 cases of painted plaster from the Roman villa of Bümpliz will reveal their secrets

In 2014, new structures of the Roman villa in Bümpliz were unearthed. The conservation and study of the painted coatings taken on this occasion will once again be entrusted to Pictoria, a company specializing in research on antique coatings. This external mandate will contribute to the understanding of the pictorial decorations, the chronology and the function of the building.
