Cancellation of the awards ceremony

In view of the evolution of the health situation and the impossibility of a second postponement, the ceremony to award the Métiers d’art Suisse prizes to be held on Friday November 27, 2020 at the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts in Lausanne is cancelled.


Awards 2019 / 2020

Swiss master craftsman

This prize rewards an emeritus craftsman for all his work and his influence, in Switzerland and abroad. It is endowed with CHF 10,000.

Crafts & Design, Indosuez Award

This prize rewards the collaboration between a craftsman and a designer. It is endowed with CHF 10,000 for the design of the object and CHF 10,000 for the creation of the object. This reward is offered by our national partner Indosuez Wealth Management.

First price

Nicolas Berthoud, sailmaker at Arzier-Le Muids , Jacky Riesen, chandelier at Grand-Lancy , and Claudio Colucci, designer at Grand-Saconnex

Second prize

Vladimir Boson, upholsterer in Lausanne and Denis Savary, designer in Geneva


Craftsmanship & Heritage

These prizes recognize three craftsmen who excel in the conservation of movable and built heritage. The first prize is endowed with CHF 10,000.

First price

Amalita Bruthus, art restorer in Porrentruy

Second prize

Camille Vaschetto, art restorer in Lausanne

Third prize

Emmanuelle Zem Rohner, decorative painter and heritage decorator in Geneva


Young craftsmen

Three prizes and one mention reward the talent and strong development potential of young craftspeople. The first prize is endowed with CHF 10,000.

Mathias Lecocq, wood turner and sculptor in Château-d’Œx

Second prize

Estelle Bourdet, weaver in Gryon

Third prize

Simon Dubouloz, craftsman motorcycle saddler in Carouge

Mention

Théo Martin, art cabinetmaker in Payerne
