Crafts have their prices

Craftsmen or artists, the border is often tenuous. Awards are given out Friday for the first time.

The Métiers d’art deserved their prizes. They are awarded for the first time this year and the ceremony takes place on Friday as part of Artgenève, on the initiative of the Swiss Association of Crafts. It is a question of highlighting a know-how which, too often, is threatened with disappearance. And to reward a handful of artisans working in stone and wood, leather and precious metals, clay and paper, glass and fabric, like artists.
