Lucas Bessard could have become a cheesemaker like his father. He also studied food engineering. But in the end, this Vaudois preferred to go his own way by embarking on the design of... wooden skis! This gliding enthusiast started by making a pair for himself, to replace the one he had just broken. He then made others for members of his family and some friends. From there to launching his small business, there was only one step that he cheerfully took.

A few winters and a crowdfunding later (this crowdfunding allowed him to settle in Cuarnens, in a more spacious and better equipped workshop), this young man became a recognized craftsman and even honored by the Swiss Association of craftsmen. ’art. To date, he has fashioned around a hundred exceptional slats.
