The women’s and men’s collections stood out for their audacity with the use of traditional materials such as wool. Innovation was also in the spotlight in a pioneering use of a polymer used to "weld" textiles.
Two winners
Two prizes were awarded by an independent international jury: the HEAD Bachelor Bongénie Prize was awarded to Dan Dwir, Bachelor graduate with his Utopia collection. A theme dealing with "Manliness, a tension between a strong attitude and a weak body." Vanessa Schindler, Master’s graduate, received the HEAD Master Mercedes-Benz Prize thanks to the result of theoretical and practical research work undertaken during the two years of Master’s studies, called Urethane Pool.
