Geneva - The Craftsmanship Prize of the Association of Geneva Municipalities rewards the Arturo Belli factory, bootmaker in Carouge

The craftsmanship prize awarded by the Association of Geneva Municipalities to the Arturo Belli factory was presented on April 12 to Tony Giglio, head of the factory. This prize salutes the epic more than a century of this manufacture which perpetuates a unique craftsmanship in Switzerland and is today the only one in the country which produces made-to-measure shoes from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing process.

"I am optimistic for craftsmanship. It is a passion, a transmission, an abnegation too. We will always need carpenters, roofers... and shoes". Tony Giglio quoted in La Tribune de Genève of May 10, 2017
