Olivier Molleyres, bookbinder in Neuchâtel (NE) presents his profession from his studio

"A facet of my job: giving a second life to an old, ragged book and seeing the customer’s pleasure in finding it. It is worth all the talk in the world. »

Olivier Molleyres was born in 1965 in Val-de-Ruz. At the age of 20, CFC in his pocket, he practiced 4 years in Lausanne, then returned to the country. After 2 years of craftsmanship, he slipped into the printing press and carried out the preparatory work there. In 2015, he took over the nearly century-old workshop of his trainer, Charles Vauthier, and in 2016, that of Bernard Capt.
