Paris - Future Prize for Crafts 2018

On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, the winners of the Prix Avenir des Métiers d’Art 2018 were received in the Condorcet room, at the Ministry of National Education, for the presentation of their prizes, in the presence of Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer : a great recognition for these young creators and for the crafts.

It is also an opportunity to "promote and recognize the richness of initial training in the arts and crafts and to support young talents at the start of their professional life", as the President of the National Institute des Métiers d’Art, Lyne Cohen-Solal, opening the ceremony.

The winners were thus able to meet many personalities from the world of fine crafts, who presented them with their prizes, testimony to the importance of transmission between experienced professionals and beginners.

The Prix Avenir Métiers d’Art is the only prize intended for young people in training in the field of fine crafts. It has been awarded every year since 2002 by the Institut National des Métiers d’Art, with the support of the Michèle and Antoine Riboud Foundation.
