Jesuit Church, from Thursday November 7 to Sunday November 10, 2019
For 18 years, the Watchmaking Foundation has been organizing a fair for watchmaking and jewelery crafts in odd-numbered years, which welcomes around 1,400 visitors over four days. These days are an opportunity to introduce the general public to the craftsmen present in the cantonal territory and to allow exchanges on unique know-how, at the crossroads of art, economy and cultural heritage. An alternation between the European Crafts Days (JEMA) and the Crafts and Watchmaking Fair seems entirely appropriate. As a result, the canton of Jura prefers to opt henceforth for participation in the JEMA every two years, with a next edition in 2020. The complementarity of the actions will allow the crafts of our region and its craftsmen to benefit from a additional visibility.
