Safeguarding heritage in the canton of Neuchâtel

A conference-debate by RéseauPatrimoineS, with Jacques Bujard, on Tuesday March 17 at 7 p.m., at the Palais de Rumine in Lausanne

"That’s not the cut! Too expensive!" The financing of heritage conservation has been a debate for a long time, a debate that is rekindled with each deterioration in public finances, with each economic slowdown, with each change in the political stakes. Former vice-president of the Federal Commission for Historic Monuments, Jacques Bujard has a doctorate in archaeology. He is the head of the Heritage and Archeology Office of the canton of Neuchâtel. The various entities of this office are based on a long tradition of protection and enhancement of the archaeological and historical heritage of Neuchâtel, since the question has occupied citizens and authorities since the 19th century.
