Adriana Cavallaro was born in Catania. She grew up in Ravenna, the cradle of Byzantine mosaics. She studied this traditional art for more than 11 years, first at the Institute of Applied Arts in Ravenna and then at the Geneva University of Art and Design. In 2004, she did an exchange semester and decided to settle in Switzerland.

From Tuesday September 29 to Sunday October 4, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Adriana Cavallaro will present the different stages of making an ancient Roman mosaic (reproduction): drawing, printing on lime, cutting tesserae with a hammer and break. His contemporary creations in ceramic, glass paste, and mirror will also be exhibited.
