From Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arcades Métiers d’art Switzerland, Platform 10 in Lausanne
After obtaining her CFC, Léonore Graff worked in sheltered weaving workshops with people with mental disabilities. She began her production in 2013 at Danielle Mussard before opening her workshop. In addition, she is involved in various capacities in the professional training of her profession.
“Once the right rhythm has been found, this job becomes very soothing. »
From Saturday October 10 to Sunday October 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Léonore Graff will set herself up with a sampling loom that will allow everyone to see or try their hand at weaving simple techniques (canvas, twill and dummy weaves such as houndstooth). To understand the basic principles of weaving and how a pattern can appear on a fabric, the craftswoman will present the stages of hedging and combing.
