Third Prize for Young Craftsmen - Simon Dubouloz, craftsman motorcycle saddler in Plan-les-Ouates

This prize rewards the talent and strong development potential of a young craftsman.

As a worthy heir to his mother’s talents as a leatherworker, Simon Dubouloz works with leather with precision, pursuing perfection down to the smallest detail. This love of a job well done, he combines it with his passion for motorcycling. Trained as a motorcycle mechanic, he now competes in motorcycle Grand Prix. This increased knowledge of the field allows him to decipher the needs of the greatest champions such as Valentino Rossi. His observations thus naturally led him to create ergonomic, personalized and harmonious saddles that motorcycle enthusiasts around the world snapped up, whether they were professionals or amateurs. Always on the lookout for challenges, Simon Dubouloz likes to think outside the box: as evidenced by his sofa-seat in the shape of a "café racer" style motorcycle saddle, reproduced on a 2:1 scale and equipped with a speaker, which invites you to rediscover the sensations of bitumen in the calm of a living room.
