Valérie Hangel, textile jeweler in Carouge (GE) presents her job from her workshop

“I’m always apprehensive before cutting into the silks. There is something "sacrificed" before rebirth. »

Valérie Hangel has always had a passion for textiles. After her training, she opened a sewing workshop where she offered made-to-measure clothing and ready-to-wear collections. In 2008, during a trip to Japan, she discovered ancient silks: it was love at first sight. She then decides to reorient herself and transforms these fabrics rich in history into unique jewels.
