Venice - Homo Faber back in 2020

Homo Faber 2020, celebration of the best of European and Japanese craftsmanship, from September 10 to October 11, 2020 at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice

In 2020, the second edition of Homo Faber will take place, this pioneering cultural event dedicated to excellent European craftsmanship. For a month, the event will revolve around 17 exhibitions and installations that will present the work of European master craftsmen and celebrate its guest of honor, Japan. Each of these spaces will showcase the country’s ancestral craft traditions and pay tribute to its influence on European craftsmanship. The visitor will be able to discover an extraordinary variety of materials and know-how, between traditional methods threatened with extinction and contemporary cutting-edge techniques.
