Cooper

The cooper makes or repairs containers for wine growing and decorative objects. They mainly work solid wood (oak, acacia, chestnut, larch) with appropriate machines and tools. They are responsible for their creations, from the project to finalization. They ensure contact with customers and manage administrative tasks. They also know the stages of grape winemaking.

Initial professional training as a CFC Cooper is acquired through an apprenticeship. Duration 3 years. Course location in Brienz/BE. Improvements are possible.
