Elisabetta Bergonzo
Ceramist
Morges

« I try to freeze in my creations the traces of a reverie, an emotion, a dreamlike world. »

About

Elisabetta Bergonzo discovered clay during an evening class. Very quickly, she became passionate about this material and decided to train in ceramics. She participates in numerous exhibitions both in Switzerland and abroad. She collaborates with different institutions, such as the Valrose hotel in Rougemont for which she created tableware for their gourmet restaurant.

« I like having my hands in the earth, shaping it to give it a function, a story. Each stage is full of satisfying moments. »

To create her pieces, Elisabetta Bergonzo draws inspiration from the plant and mineral world. Through patience, perseverance and rigor, she shapes the clay to give it a story. Over the years, she has learned to master this delicate and unpredictable material. Keen to pass on her know-how, she provides workshops for children and adults.
