A kinesiology therapist and trained horticulturist, Marie-Laure Beun discovered paper cutting in 2016. A year later, she caught the virus. In 2018, she opened her workshop Les papiers de Marie and became a member of the Association of cutters. She regularly participates in exhibitions.
Marie-Laure Beun draws her inspiration from the world of fairy tales and her passion for nature. Using her pencil, she draws the beginnings of her paintings. With the help of a cutter, she takes us both to mountain scenes and to more contemporary urban landscapes. To give relief to her creations, she often works with several layers of paper.
