Jérôme Bonneville
Jeweler-gemologist
Lausanne

« From my father, a gourmet cook, I inherited his sense of rigor and his artistic sensibility. But it is to the stones that I have dedicated them. »

About
From an early age, Jérôme Bonneville collected gems. After his studies at the Institute of Gemmology in Antwerp, he traveled the world and developed his contacts in search of the most beautiful stones: in Antwerp for diamonds, in Sri Lanka for sapphires, in Myanmar for rubies, spinels and peridots, and in Thailand for rubellites and tanzanites.

« To create a jewel, I need to know the person who is going to wear it, to create a relationship of trust and to enter a little into their intimacy. »

To the love of precious stones, Jérôme Bonneville adds that of showcasing them as he learned to do from Bernard Houillon and Jean-Charles Rocher, master jewelers and best craftsmen in France. His mentors push him to perfection. At only 29 years old, he obtained the supreme reward of the French professional elite: best worker in France. He has been based in Lausanne since 2013.
