      About
Romain Candaux’s fascination with metal and its many possibilities appeared very early on during visits to forges. After training in locksmithing, he became a blacksmith and specialized in farriery, which today represents the bulk of his activity. He then learned about artistic ironwork and thus gave life to the products of his imagination.
In his small workshop located in Premier, Romain Candaux devotes himself to his passion, working with iron. The tools at his disposal are numerous: hearth, anvil, hammer, grindstone, saw or even sledgehammer. They allow him to work the iron hot or cold and give it the shape he wants. For several years, he has been working for the iron museum of Vallorbe.
