Working the stone, challenging its characteristics to make it appear in a light and unsuspected form, or on the contrary exploiting its hardness and inertia in order to intimately link the material to the subject, stone sculpture, because it gives shape to minerals with varied characteristics whose different types, marble, granite, sandstone, immediately evoke a style, a tradition, concentrates in its ancestral practice a fragment of human history.

Driven by their respective goals and enriched by their personal training, Vincent Du Bois, Michel Gillabert and Philippe Cartan, all three members of the ASPIG (Association of Independent Sculptors of Geneva) are constantly reinventing this craft, between restoration and creation, between tradition and modernity.
