About
At 16, Jean-Marie Corona took his first steps as a blacksmith. Over the years, he diversified his techniques and became versatile in both modern and classic ironwork. He creates low furnaces, forged plants, ramps, gates, signs, lights, furniture and pieces of funerary art. Added to this are various restoration works and above all a great passion for cutlery.
Whether in his workshop in La Sarraz or in the forge of the Vallorbe Iron Museum where he has been working for several years, Jean-Marie Corona perpetuates a craft that dates back several millennia. In addition, he regularly leads courses or courses for beginners. With Joseph Currat, Jean-Marie Corona founded the Festival des Couteliers de Vallorbe.
