Lola Jungle dances with threads. Born in Barcelona, Lola Jungle grew up surrounded by threads and learned to count with her grandmother's button box. After studying Applied Arts, she sewed and unsewed in the sculpture department of the Faculty of Fine Arts. For the past few years, she has continued to dream, draw, and stitch from her studio in Vevey.

« For me, the importance of know-how and technique allows me to be able, after having deconstructed the standards, to play with threads and create creations inspired by poetry, music and illustration. »

Lola Jungle uses thread and needle to express herself. Her exploration of traditional textile techniques, historically linked to femininity, serves as a pretext for venturing into embroidering and sewing scars, songs, poems, and desires. A visual artist, she dedicates her hands to contemporary embroidery. With passion, she uses stylized embroidery to cover holes, hide stains, and breathe new life into garments that have already lived a hectic existence!
