About
Nadia Cuénoud was born in Cully where she lives and works. After a maturity in modern languages, she naturally turned to her passion: theater through costume. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and then worked for the Béjart company as an assistant costume designer. She continued her training in Paris and at EPSIC, a vocational school in Lausanne.
The passion for the profession is palpable in his workshop where draperies, doublets, dresses, multicolored strawberries, sketches, projects and old books abound. This is where Nadia Cuénoud alternates between different mandates for the stage, museums and cinema. Passionate about embroidery, she divides her time between her work as a seamstress and designer and teaching sewing.
