Trained at the Ecole Technique de la Vallée de Joux, Romain Delafontaine worked for almost thirteen years for the greatest luxury watchmaking houses, notably Audemars Piguet, François-Paul Journe and Chronode. With his brother François, and thanks to the support of many friends who mobilized to help them, he created the r-watch brand in 2011.

Independent by nature and attached to his city, Romain Delafontaine took over the workshop on rue du Milieu in 2015. He repairs and maintains watches and clocks of all brands. More recently, out of taste and love of quality, he turned to Vintage watches, more particularly for the Omega brand, of which he is an approved specialist.
