The passion for decoupage was born both at school where decoupage is on the program and at home where his father cuts silhouettes. Very early on, Henriette Hartmann’s scissors crunch her classmates. Her work is rooted in tradition but she also likes to find a more contemporary style.
The plastic arts occupied an important place throughout Henriette Hartmann’s life. She took lessons in various workshops, particularly in the South of France. For more than twenty years, cutting has been his major occupation. She regularly exhibits, teaches and works to order. In 2014, she received the Vaud Intangible Cultural Prize.
