Born in 1975, Laurent Golay has been passionate about skateboarding and snowboarding since a very young age. Once his carpenter’s certificate is in his pocket, he leaves his native Vallée de Joux to satisfy his passions on the best spots around the world. In 2000, he took over the family carpentry business with his wife and started making homemade skateboards.

In his workshop, Laurent Golay builds from A to Z and in an entirely artisanal way skateboards, longboards, paddleboards, powsurf and other sliding equipment: he glues the thin sheets of wood, presses them, cuts them, sands them, screen prints them and thus creates boards that respect a certain ethic. He also develops skate parks and elements of snow parks.
