About
Cédéric Guhl, holder of a Federal Certificate of Project Manager as a cabinetmaker, obtained at Bodenmann SA, designs, draws and produces furniture such as tables, cabinets, chests of drawers; he also restores old wooden furniture, and he can reproduce it. It has ancient know-how that has been perpetuated since the 18th century.
He acquired a special machine in the world of cabinetmaking, which slices the wood giving a smooth surface, all without sanding. This machine being an important asset, it encouraged him to become self-employed. The young man creates furniture for individuals and bedside lamps with Japanese-inspired assemblies. He also renovates historic staircases, always in private homes.
The young cabinetmaker is particularly keen on the ecological aspect of wood. His young company born in 2020, Jouxboiserie , is located in the Vallée de Joux, more precisely on the edge of the lake, at Le Pont. She draws her inspiration from what surrounds her.
The ideas brought by his clients are like the ink of a pen used to create a work. The hand-made project drawings are the materialization of the possibilities of the imagination, ending with a quality creation with worked details.
