About
Ursula Gutzwiller grew up on a small farm in the Jura region and discovered her passion for saddlery at a very young age: a craft that combines artisanal skill, a sensitivity to materials, and a love of horses. After training with Daniel and Noëlle Hess in Montfaucon, she went to Spain to learn how to make vaquera saddles. Returning to Switzerland, she honed her skills at a saddlery in Bern before opening her own workshop in 2011.
Now based in Delémont, she handcrafts belts, cases, bracelets, stationery, and equestrian sports equipment. Committed to providing high-quality creations, everything is made from vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather, selected for its natural character, grain variations, and overall quality.
