About
Born in Aigle in 1960, Corinne Kohli dreamed of becoming a ceramist. In her second year of training, at the age of 40, she trained as a ceramist at the Vevey School of Applied Arts, graduating in 2003.
Living in Valais since 1980, she created her first workshop in Venthône, then moved to Sierre and finally settled in Mase, her place of life and work.
His creations are presented in galleries in French-speaking Switzerland.
The studio, Empreinte céramique, is surrounded by nature. It allows Corinne Kohli to draw inspiration from the plant world and often use form as a support for decoration.
His ceramic work is situated in the contemporary artistic space. His practice, which combines technique and know-how, shifts towards an artistic universe marked by the aesthetic and technical representations of ceramics.
