« At my uncle, ironworker, blacksmith and blacksmith, I learned the basics of my trade from childhood. I decided little by little to set up on my own as an artistic ironworker. »

Born in 1951, Jean-Marc Lattion began studying mechanical engineering, which he abandoned after a few terms, disappointed by the student atmosphere. He became a computer programmer for a few years. But in 1976, his taste for independence and the memory of his uncle brought him back to the forge. He begins by making some decorations for houses and signs his first work.

Entering Jean-Marc Lattion’s studio is a journey into a fantastic world. His tools rub shoulders with a whole bestiary worthy of Tolkien, cats or owls perched on a crescent moon, elephants and snails or cows that have become deities. He also makes gates, gates or barriers, signs or even furniture.
