About
Born in Neuchâtel, Catherine Lambert trained as an educator and lacemaker, then moved to Valais and learned weaving. She opened her studio in 1970 and explored the field of textiles, spinning, batile, embroidery and patchwork. She participates in numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad and receives several prizes for her work.
In his workshop where everything is textile creation, we discover lace sculptures, re-embroidered patchwork paintings, woven clothes. More surprising, the lace inserted into glass cups and the used tea bags transformed into jewellery. His unusual creations are constantly renewed.
