« Murano glass requires working quickly, which facilitates access to a more instinctive work where technique is forgotten in favor of expression. »

About

A scientist by training, Anne Londez discovered an attraction for working with glass during her doctorate. She first learned the technique of fusing before turning to the torch, her true passion. She learned the trade during various internships in the United States of America. Later, she turned to figurative sculpture following training in Murano.

« Molten glass has something mysterious, primary about it, which speaks to emotions often buried very deeply in our modern life. »

In Anne Londez’s colorful studio-boutique, sculptures rub shoulders with glass and silver jewelry, as well as the retail beads she has carefully crafted in her glassblowing workshop. Since 2002, she has been teaching the various techniques of working with glass, whether as part of introductory or advanced courses.
