About
Romain Luppi developed his love of wood from his childhood in the workshop of his father, an amateur sculptor. After training as a cabinetmaker, he traveled to the four corners of the world. Back in Switzerland, rich in memories and experiences, he decided to share his know-how as a passionate cabinetmaker and founded his company Atelier Insolite in 2014.
For his creations, all unique, Romain Luppi places particular importance on using local wood. For example, he saws selected logs from the forest and leaves them to dry in the open air for up to 5 years before transforming them into tables, shelves or other tailor-made arrangements.
