After a course combining ceramics and drawing, Sophie Meylan turned to the profession of enameller in watchmaking. She trained on the job at Stern Créations where she learned the enameling of plain dials, as well as the Limoges white grisaille technique. She then set up on her own and developed her know-how by drawing inspiration from the techniques specific to her initial training.
Sophie Meylan also practices enameling guilloché, champlevé, and engraved dials. Thanks to the careful attention paid to each stage of enameling and a high level of finishing, she achieves high-quality creations that are popular with the great names in watchmaking such as Romain Gauthier, Piaget, Delaneau, and Voutilainen.
