Valeria-Santina Murgia is passionate about the conservation of works of art. Specializing in paintings and sculptures, she focuses on textile and wooden supports as well as polychrome and gilded surfaces. Her broad field of interest includes, among other things, preventive conservation and provenance research. Any intervention on a work of art is carried out with the aim of preserving its authenticity and integrity. Her approach is characterized by a thorough preliminary study, on the basis of which she develops tailor-made concepts, at the cutting edge of research and in accordance with the strictest ethical standards.
