After training in jewelery on his own, Philippe Narbel began training as a watchmaker at the age of 30 in a factory in the Vallée de Joux. He then completed his skills there by acquiring the practice of chamfering and skeletonization, on watches with grand complications.

« I like metal in its raw state, fresh from machining. Because my passion is to make it beautiful. »

In 2015, Philippe Narbel founded Manufactor Sàrl at L’Abbaye in the Vallée de Joux where he brought together the various skills of watchmaking decoration: manual skeletonization of watchmaking components, tracing, cutting, reworking of the sides, bevelling, engraving. Philippe Narbel also develops his own watch projects and creates jewelry.
